We are left broken, devastated, and shocked.
The Eleventh Doctor Matt Smith bid us all a farewell in his last episode of Doctor Who tonight.
Doctor Who, Raggedy Man, TimeOfTheDoctor, and Matt Smith were all trending topics all night since before and after the episode.
Matt tells it all, why he is leaving, when he started thinking about leaving, and everything else :
"It’s something that I was considering for a while. It’s one of those jobs where there’s never a right time, because part of you just wants to do it forever. It’s such wonderful storytelling and it’s the most wonderful character and it’s the most wonderful cast and crew, and so much about it is right. I think you have to keep challenging yourself and keep challenging the show. For the show, it’s the right time and it will re-galvanize it. The show will get bigger and better, and I’ll become a fan and look back on my time and just go, I’ve had the most wonderful journey.”
So, what’s next?
"Well, I don’t know. I’ve got to get a job. If J.J. [Abrams] or Steven or any of those guys want to put me in anything, I’m free and willing."
If you have no idea what Doctor Who is... I can't even look at you right now, I need a second...
Look it up because you will love it. Maybe start with the tenth doctor, David Tennent? And you will fall in love just like we did.
Everyone is in tears on this Christmas night as The Doctor says goodbye.
"Raggedy Man, goodnight."
